I’m Eric Gogerty, the proud owner of Gogerty & Associates PLC.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I’ve been a certified public accountant working in Mason City since 1995. I decided to start Gogerty & Associates PLC as part of the succession plan for Kevin Dolphin CPA, P.C. 

By taking over the reins, I wanted to provide client care and service continuity to the customer base that Kevin, our staff, and I have served for years.

We work with wonderful people, and being able to help them develop plans to minimize taxes, manage their business, and be a part of helping them reach their goals is rewarding.

Therefore, my objective for the firm is not to change much, as I want to keep it similar to how it was run previously. In this endeavor, maintaining a small-firm atmosphere is essential to me.

It gives us the ability to work directly with our clients, develop close relationships, and be readily available to answer questions as they arise. Also, our hands-on approach is the most significant factor that helps us to understand our clients and has been key to our success.

We’ve also striven to give everyone the best possible service by maintaining our core values of honesty, respect, integrity, trust, and discipline. By incorporating these values into our daily operations, our team provides the highest level of quality services which our clients deserve.

This focus has been evident, especially over the past two years, where we’ve consistently helped enterprises weather the storm that COVID-19 presented. Playing a small part in our clients’ survival fills me with immense satisfaction.

When I’m not crunching numbers, I enjoy spending time with my family, my wife Jen, son Neil, and our dog Kobe. I’m also a football fan and enjoy watching the Steelers and Cyclones.

In addition, supporting the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and organizations that help people suffering from M.S. is close to my heart.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
